METHOD FOR TESTING HOME ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE INCLUDING AUDIO PORT AND HOME ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE FOR USING THE AUDIO PORT AS INTERFACE FOR TESTING THE ELECTRONIC APPLIANCE

PURPOSE: A method for testing a home electronic appliances including an audio port and an electronic appliance are provided to use the audio port as an interface for testing the electronic appliances. CONSTITUTION: A home electronic appliance(1) includes audio ports used as an interface for testing the electronic appliance. Particularly, stereo output ports of the electronic appliance is used as the interface. One of the stereo output ports is used to receive a digital signal from a control computer(3), and the other one is used to transmit a digital signal from the electronic appliance to the control computer. A test adapter(2) connected among the electronic appliance, the control computer and an audio signal amplifier is used to separate a test signal and an audio signal from each other. A crystal oscillator of the electronic appliance is used to modulate digital data into a carrier signal.
