PURPOSE: An electrical inspection apparatus for performing an electrical inspection by bringing an inspection probe into contact with a printed circuit board is provided to prevent the damage of the inspection probe by setting properly a substrate fixing position on the electrical inspection apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An electrical inspection apparatus includes a reference position regulating member and a pressing member. As the reference position regulating member(37) is contact with a first surface of a printed board, whereby the printed board is fixed at a reference position that is determined in advance in a normal direction. As the pressing member(47) is brought into contact with a second surface of the printed board opposite to the first surface, the printed board is held between the reference position regulating member and the pressing member. An inspection probe is brought into contact with a prescribed portion of the printed board, which differs from a first area in which the reference position regulating member is brought into contact with the printed board and a second area in which the pressing member is brought into contact with the printed board.
