PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent display device with improved brightness, converging electron beam with simple structure, capable of displaying a sharp image. SOLUTION: A metal mesh member (206h) covering an opening (206f) of a metal member (206d) as a component of a cathode structure (206) is formed into a groove-shape protruding toward an electron emission part.
