PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf device of a storage chamber allowing the plate-like shelves thereof to be removed and washed clean without transferring food placed thereon to the other shelf even when the plate-like shelves are stained with soup by solving problems with a conventional shelf device wherein, when the food placing shelves of a refrigerator are formed in plate-like shelves, the shelves are formed of one sheet of plate or forward and backward shelf plates, and the former shelf and the latter front shelve are stained with soup and washed clean, the food placed on the shelves must be transferred to the other shelf or temporarily taken out of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: This shelf device comprises plate-like shelves and net shelves placed on the plate-like shelves. The plate-like shelves are formed of the laterally longer front and rear shelves, and a plurality of upwardly opening net shelf supporting grooves extending on a straight line in the longitudinal direction are formed, parallel with each other, in the upper surfaces of the front and rear shelves. The net shelves comprise a plurality of vertical wire materials disposed generally parallel with each other which are stored in the net shelf supporting grooves of the front and rear shelves, and the rear shelf can be detachably installed with the food placed on the net shelves.
