PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the brake-shoe with the wear resistance that can brake without the intensive vibration and to show its application. SOLUTION: A brake shoe (12) includes a brake lining (14) equipped with an overall effective surface that opposes to the cable to be braked. The brake lining (14) can move to an operation position, and the effective surface is pushed to the cable in its position. The brake lining has two pieces of lining ranges (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5) at least and each adjacent lining range is composed of the different material. Because at least the two pieces of lining ranges (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5) in the operation position are pushed to the cable by the effective surface of the brake lining as a unit, various characteristics of the materials can be used effectively at the same time.
