PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable optimum cooking by accurately detecting the initial temperature, heating temperature, position, and shape of a food placed on the food placing table of a cooker. SOLUTION: This cooker comprises a food heating means having a heating chamber 3 storing the food 2, the turn table-less food placing table 4 for placing the food 2 thereon, a magnetron 5 generating microwaves heating the food 2, a wave guide tube 6 having the magnetron fixed thereto and guiding the microwaves to the heating chamber 3, a rotating antenna 7 agitating the microwaves, and an antenna drive means 9 driving the rotating antenna 7. The cooker also comprises a first temperature detection means detecting the temperature information on the food 2 and a second temperature detection means 23 detecting the temperature information on the food placing table 4.
