PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facial mask made of collagen and having sufficient physical strengths without using environmentally unfriendly chemicals and harmful chemical crosslinking agents. SOLUTION: This facial mask is produced by the freeze-drying of a liquid containing a collagen dispersion liquid obtained by a method comprising a step to mechanically disintegrate a collagen-containing tissue, homogeneously disperse the product and chemically reduce the unsaturated bond and a step to wash the dispersion liquid with an organic solvent and freeze-dry the produced liquid containing the collagen dispersion.
