PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water for washing capable of remarkably improving washing effect-enhancing action of degassed water when the water contains an anionic surfactant. SOLUTION: The water for washing comprises degassed water, a compound selected from a carbonate and hydrogen carbonate and contained in an amount of≥10 mmol/L and an amount not larger than saturated solubility and the anionic surfactant.
