PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrate as effectively as possible the heat of an electric heater on a replacement plate in a heating plate for cooking having a cooking plate made up of an outer frame plate and the replacement plate. SOLUTION: The heating plate for cooking has the cooking plate, a heating table on which the cooking plate is mounted, an electric heater arranged in the heating table and heating the cooking plate by contacting the bottom of the cooking plate and a heat-sensitive rod detecting the temperature of the cooking plate. The heating plate comprises the outer frame plate set to the heating table, and a replacement plate optionally fitted and set into an opening provided at the bottom of the outer frame plate in accordance with a use.
