A display body (11) has a sheet shape having an appropriate rigidity by including: an EL light emitting sheet (18) having a light emitting surface (18a) and a protection surface (18b) positioned opposite to it; a pair of connection terminals (21) electrically connected via a lead film (20) to a pair of electrodes (19) formed on the EL light emitting sheet (18); an electrically insulative advertisement display sheet (22) on which the lead film (20) and the pair of connection terminals (21) are superimposed and the light emitting surface (18a) of the EL light emitting sheet (18) is superimposed; a pair of electrically insulative transparent sheets (23) covering the advertisement display sheet (22) and the EL light emitting sheet (18); and a pair of terminal openings (24) formed on the advertisement display sheet (22) and one of the transparent sheets (23) facing the advertisement display sheet (22) so as to expose the pair of connection terminals (21) outside.
