<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the auto-register system for rental articles for automatically calculating a rental fee by inputting the number of rental days manually or by a registering unit, and for automatically or efficiently performing the adjustment of the rental fee. <P>SOLUTION: This auto-register system for rental articles is provided with a reading means for optically reading recognition information arranged in the rental articles, a recognition means for recognizing the rental articles from the read image, a number of rental day inputting means for inputting the number of rental days of the rental articles and a rental charge calculating means for calculating the rental fee based on the information of the recognition means and the number of rental day inputting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
