PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device for a container made of an expanded synthetic resin which can mass-produce the container made of the expanded synthetic resin equipped with a water draining structure having a through hole which penetrates vertically through the peripheral wall of the container, and a communicating hole which communicates with the through hole from the bottom part in the container and has a liquid sealing part inside, by the beads molding method at a low cost. SOLUTION: A shaft-form core 140 for forming the through hole is projected from a male mold 101 in a molding space 113 in parallel with the mold moving direction. On the axial core, a molding piece 150 for forming the communicating hole, and an urging means which makes the molding piece protrude diagonally forward in the direction by which the container 10 molded in the molding space separates from the male mold are provided. At the time of the molding, the molding piece is made to protrude into the molding space by the urging means, and a state wherein the distal end of the molding piece comes into contact with the male mold is presented. When the male mold is separated from a female mold 102 after the molding, the molding piece is made to retract in a manner to become approximately in parallel with the mold moving direction.
