RESPONSE TESTING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRAIN STOPPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a reception possible scope for the advance direction and the right and left directions of a train by one transmission antenna. SOLUTION: This response testing device for an automatic train stopping device is constituted in such a way that an ATS simulation signal of an ATS ground signal is transmitted to a reception antenna 3 of the automatic train stopping device 5 from the ground side and a reception possible scope of the reception antenna is computed by a reception possible scope measuring means 16 when the automatic train stopping device 5 receives the ATS simulation signal and outputs an ATS determining signal to display the result of computation in a reception possible scope display means 17. This device is provided with a transmission antenna driving means 8 for moving a transmission antenna 7 in the forward and backward directions for the direction of advance of the train 2 and in the right and left directions for the direction of advance of the train 2 by predetermined distance from a position where the transmission antenna 7 and the reception antenna 3 oppose mutually by receiving the ATS simulation signal into the reception antenna 3 from one transmission antenna 7 arranged on the ground side.
