PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment agent and a sludge treatment method using the same. SOLUTION: Iron hydroxide and calcium sulfate are used in the sludge treatment agent not only to efficiently flocculate sludge but also to fix hydrogen sulfide being a malodorous component. Further, neutralized gypsum prepared by neutralizing various waste acids including an iron component can be used as the treatment agent to be utilized effectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
