PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic information recording medium destruction apparatus for destroying an electronic information recording medium such as a CD which is capable of reliably preventing reading of information, simple in structure, inexpensive, hardly broken, and easy in operation. SOLUTION: This destruction apparatus 1 comprises a table 2 to support the electronic information recording medium W, a pressing member 3 to press the electronic information recording medium W placed on the table 2 against the table 2, and a destruction tool 4 to destroy the electronic information recording medium W held by the table 2 and the pressing member 3.
