PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body which is user-friendly and a vacuum cleaner provided with the suction port body. SOLUTION: A clutch 45 which engages/disengages a roller 27 and a motor 31 is provided at a casing body 21. When the roller 27 is used, the roller 27 is driven with a driving force of the motor 31 and helps a floor brush 16 to move. When the roller 27 is not used, the roller 27 and the motor 31 are disengaged by the clutch 45 and the driving force of the motor 31 is cut off from the roller 27. Even if the roller 27 contacts a level difference of a floor surface, the roller 27 idles and does not make burden to the floor brush 16 during travelling, and user-friendliness can be improved.
