<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for regenerative medicine by which handleability of sewing up etc. is improved in the case of a medical behavior such as a surgery by reducing the amount of fiber and obtaining proper extensibility and strength matched with a living body so as to uniformly and stably produce a molded product of goods handleability which is free from fray, curl, etc. during molding. <P>SOLUTION: The base material for regenerative medicine is constituted by composing knitted fabric and a biological absorptive material.
