<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recombinant virus proteins suitable for use in diagnosis, prevention and treatment of virus infections. <P>SOLUTION: This genetic construct is a genetic construct that includes a wild-type human papillomavirus 16 (HPV16) L1 conformational coding sequence encoding a papillomavirus L1 capsid protein in a recombinant vector. The construct directs expression of a capsomer structure in the host cell having a conformational epitope inducing a high-titer neutralizing antibody to a native papillomavirus by self-assembly of the capsomer structure including the papillomavirus L1 capsid protein, wherein the construct includes the wild-type human papillomavirus 16 (HPV16) L1 conformational coding sequence encoding the papillomavirus L1 capsid protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
