<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock checking system using an ID tag capable of more certainly, promptly, and simply carrying out commodity inspection work. <P>SOLUTION: In this stock checking system, the ID tag wherein necessary data for checking a commodity is inputted is attached to the commodity. A scanner S possessed by a management worker scans on the ID tag attached to the commodity, thereby checking a stock state of the commodity.
