<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display control unit and a program which appropriately display a word meaning, corresponding to a word contained in an illustrative sentence. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of search word are inputted from an input section 22, a CPU 21 extracts an illustrative sentence, containing all search words from an illustrative sentence data table 2632, and displays the illustrative sentence, corresponding to a source entry word which is a duplicate of the relevant search word in the sequence of the inputted search word.
