<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining apparatus capable of constantly using a nozzle in a spatter-less state, and realizing the consistent welding quality by removing spatter deposited on the nozzle during the automatic operation by the program. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining apparatus in which laser beams 14 are emitted toward a machining point 8A from a nozzle 12 disposed on a tip of an outgoing unit 10, comprises a rotary brush 32 to clean a tip of the nozzle, a moving mechanism 40 to be evacuated from the rotary brush during the machining operation and press the rotary brush against the nozzle tip during the cleaning operation, and a control means to control the moving mechanism and the rotary brush according to the program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
