<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printed paper sheets having a desirable length, without generating extension and shrinkage of printed images in the paper sheet carrying direction, by compensating unevenness of a carrying distance between printing devices for printing dot patterns, while driving a step motor. <P>SOLUTION: A printing cycle by a thermal head and a driving cycle of the step motor do not synchronize, and the printing cycle by the thermal head can be changed. When a carrying distance per one step of the motor is longer than the reference length, length of dots 56 in the carrying direction is shortened to be set at the standard length by shortening the printing cycle (figure (a)). When a carrying distance per one step of the motor is shorter than the reference length, length of the dots 56 in the carrying direction is formed longer to the standard length by prolonging the printing cycle (figure (b)). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
