PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device that can make assembling easier by preventing an adhesive from flowing between the optical exit region of the semiconductor laser and a collimation lens, in a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A collimator lens 16 comprises a base 11, a semiconductor laser 12 supported by the base 11, and a part which is bonded to the base 11 and a section of the semiconductor laser 12 that faces an optical exit region 12a. Related to the base 11, a cut 18 is formed between the part to which the collimator lens 16 is bonded and the part by which the semiconductor laser 12 is supported, to prevent an adhesive 17 from flowing into the optical exit region 12a of the semiconductor laser 12.
