PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame with high rigidity for a machine press in which especially the rigidity in the right and left and the front and rear directions is large, and further, flexure at a bed part is small. SOLUTION: The frame is composed by providing ring-shaped front/rear vertical plates, a central reinforcing vertical plate to join the vertical plates, and, reinforcing vertical plates to the front/rear vertical plates as the main constituting members.
