摘要 Micronised zinc sulfide is used as a white pigment in a laser-transmissive thermoplastic material for laser transmission welding. A laser-transmissive compound plastic material (I) for laser transmission welding comprises (a) a thermoplastic base component, (b) 0.1-2.0 wt% micronised zinc sulfide as white pigment and (c) other additives such as lubricants, antioxidants, optical brighteners and/or fillers for adaptation to the processing and usage conditions. Independent claims are also included for (1) a laser-absorptive compound plastic material (II) for laser transmission welding, comprising material (I) with added component(s) which absorb infrared wavelengths from the laser (2) colored laser-transmissive material (III) comprising white material (I) as above containing 0.2-10 wt% laser-transmissive pigment (inorganic, natural organic or synthetic organic) (3) colored laser-absorptive material (IV) comprising material (II) containing 0.2-1.0 wt% laser-transmissive pigment
