Treatment or prevention of disease by administering one or more active agents (I) comprises at least one step (A) of enteral administration of at least one (I) and at least one step (B) of parenteral administration of at least one of the (I) administered in step (A), using a delayed release composition and/or therapeutic system. An Independent claim is also included for a composition for use in the above method, comprising a combination of enteral and parenteral formulations as above.
