PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the selection of a desired color processing while reducing the burden of a user.

SOLUTION: This device comprises a first selection means for making the user select four kinds or more of matching options from a printer driver; a second selection means for making the user select an optional profile from a plurality of profiles according to an attribute different from the matching options; a means for transmitting a command for selecting the first and second selection results in a printer controller in conformation to the first and second selection results selected on the driver to the printer controller; and a means for performing image processing in the controller by use of the combination of selection results by the first selection means and second selection means selected by the transmitted selection command and color information corresponding to the kind of profile and three kinds of matching options in the profile.
