<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical medium and a light emission body with a small size, capable of obtaining an intended illuminance. <P>SOLUTION: The semicylindrical optical medium has a plurality of well-shaped recessed parts 6a to 6d storing all of main light emitting part of a plurality of light sources 1a to 1d through the air respectively independent from each other, of which a summit part as a light emitting surface 3 emitting a plurality of lights emitted from the light sources 1a to 1d is formed into single curved surface. Respective well-shaped concave parts 6a to 6d have a bottom part functioning as an incident surface 2a to 2d making the light of the plurality of the light sources 1a to 1d in the direction of optical axis incident, and a cylindrical concave part side walls 5a to 5d functioning as incident part of the stray light component emitted from a plurality of light sources 1a to 1d, traveling not in the direction of optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
