<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a housing apparatus for sorting waste components according to each type and housing them in a plurality of housing chambers. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic circuit component mounting machine includes a component housing apparatus 160 installed to sort the waste circuit components according to each type and to house the components in its component mounting machine. The component housing apparatus 160 includes a housing container 164 generally formed constantly in width in a rectangular shape, and the plurality of the housing chambers 162 provided along its longitudinal direction. The component housing apparatus 160 is arranged near component feeders 120 in the state that the longitudinal direction becomes a parallel to the direction in which the plurality of the component feeders 120 are aligned. Each housing chamber 162 has the size corresponding to the size of the widthwise direction of each of the corresponding component feeders 120. The plurality of the housing chambers 162 are provided by positioning a partition member and a small container with respect to the housing container by a positioning engaging part, such as a positioning groove, a positioning protruding strip, etc. or a positioning member.
