<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the providing of further effective information by retaining and using a history of questions and answers. <P>SOLUTION: A problem solution part 2 transforms a user surface expression of a user to a system internal expression, and retrieves a corresponding instance from a database 1. The solution part 2 further creates providing schedule information according to the instance of the retrieval result, and outputs answer information including the system internal expression and the providing schedule information. Instance expressions based on instances of the past retrieval results are stored in an instance expression database 12. An instance expression extraction part 11 extracts the past instance expression for the same instance as the instance shown by the answer information. An answer sentence generation part 13 generates a system surface expression from the answer information and creates an information providing sentence, and at the same time creates an instance link sentence indicating a relationship between the past and this time questions and answers by using further the past instance expression.
