PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification technique applicable even to an apparatus body and a battery pack each having a waterproof structure by offering a technique capable of identifying the type of the battery pack by a simple structure. SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus 1 composed so as to use the battery pack 2 having a waterproof structure by mounting it on a body 3 with an electronic circuit installed in a casing constituting member having a waterproof structure, this identification structure of the battery pack is so structured that the battery pack 2 is equipped with a mounting means for mounting a permanent magnet M on a predetermined place according to the type of the battery pack; the body 3 is equipped with a magnetism detection means 6at a place corresponding to the permanent magnet M mounted on the battery pack; and a hole 4 sealed by a waterproof seal 5 is formed in the casing constituting member 32 interlaid at least between the permanent magnet M and the detection means 6.
