PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a seat 8 for an operator on which the selection operator sits to be housed compactly in a vegetable harvester having a harvesting and conveying device 3 installed in the left side of a traveling car body 1, and for taking out the vegetables from a field and conveying the vegetables, a driving part 5 having a driver's seat 4 at the right and installed in the front side of the traveling car body 1, a selection conveyor 6 installed in the rear side of the driving part 5 and in the left side of the harvesting and conveying device 3, the seat 8 for the operator on which the selection operator sits and which is installed in the outside of the selection conveyor 6, and a vegetable-storing container stand 25 for receiving the vegetables conveyed by the selection conveyor 6 at the downstream side of the conveying direction of the selection conveyor 6 by a container K and storing the vegetables in the container K. SOLUTION: The seat 8 for the operator is installed so as to be housed in a state of being positioned at the downstream side of the selection conveyor 6 by turning the seat 8 for the operator by using a turning axis center Q in the right and left direction of the machine body and a turning axis center R in the front and rear direction of the machine body to move the seat 8 in the inside direction of the machine body.
