PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic induction coupler which is used as a braking device. SOLUTION: The magnetic induction coupler mainly includes an external wheel 60 with a conductive strip rotor 61 fitted on an inner wall, and a magnetic stand 20 positioned within the external wheel, and both these components are arranged on the same shaft 10. A plurality of permanent magnets are disposed around an outer wall of the magnetic stand, and forms a multipolar magnetic field. A plurality of conductive strips are annularly distributed on the conductive strip rotor and are electrically connected. Rotational motion of the external wheel is mechanically separated from the magnetic stand by two sets of bearings. The external wheel is driven using a motor to attain relative movement between the external wheel and the magnetic stand. When the external wheel rotates, an induced torque generated by a current induced by the conductive strip rotor drives a shaft and causes movement correspondingly.
