PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sealing tape capable of being deformed even when folding by making it in unvulcanized state. SOLUTION: When a joint of an automobile body panel is deformed, the part is repaired, then pasted along a metal surface of the panel inside part or a connected part of a metal sheet to a metal sheet. In order to restore a new car shape in this part, the long sealing tape contains rubber base material and a vulcanization accelerator, has a thickness with respect to a bottom in the unvulcanized state, and forms an upward curved surface so that the part can be folded approximately at right angles in pasting along the connected part. At a rear face side of the sealing tape 10, slits 3 and 4, at least whose quantities correspond to each metal surface or the connected part of the metal sheet to the metal sheet are formed with 1/2 or more depth of the thickness along the longitudinal direction. At a surface side corresponding to the metal surface or the connected part of the metal sheet to the metal sheet, a slit 5 is formed with 1/2 or more depth of the thickness of the sealing tape along the longitudinal direction.
