PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of the estimated air intake volume by correcting a model error when estimating the intake air volume filled in a cylinder using an intake system model. SOLUTION: In estimating the intake air flow rate mc that passes through a throttle valve, an intake pipe, and an intake valve and that is filled in a cylinder using an electronic throttle valve model M50, a throttle valve model M10, an intake pipe model M20, an intake valve model M30, and a cylinder model M40, the throttle valve model and the intake valve model are corrected individually based on an actual measurement value of the intake air flow rate that has been detected using the throttle valve openingθt, pressure of the intake air pipe Pm, and the air flow meter.
