摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device provided with an objective lens driving device which correctly records and reproduces information by surely suppressing an occurrence of aberration caused by a deviation between an optical axis of an objective lens and a vertical axis of recording surface of a disk medium. SOLUTION: Piezoelectric elements 4a and 4b are arranged in the radial direction of a disk at the positions where the piezoelectric elements 4a and 4b are point symmetrical with respect to the optical axis of the objective lens 1. At this time, a middle point of a straight line connecting the centers of displacement of the piezoelectric elements 4a and 4b is made to match with a principal point of the objective lens 1. A tilt detecting means inputs tilt error signals being an angle deviation between the optical axis of the objective lens 1 and the vertical axis of the recording surface of the disk medium 4 to the piezoelectric elements 4a and 4b so as to be reverse phases to each other. Since force that has equal magnitude in mutually reverse directions in the direction of an optical axis, acts on end parts of the objective lens 1, the objective lens 1 follows inclination of the disk medium 5 in a disk redial direction and inclines centering on a principal point.
