PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the possibility of tilting attachment of a disk type disk cartridge to a disk holder due to insufficient insertion direction guiding for the disk holder when the disk type disk cartridge is attached to the disk holder of a disk camera. SOLUTION: For the disk cartridge, a mark by a projected part, a recessed part, printing or the like is arranged on the curved surface of the disk cartridge. For the disk camera, a mark by a projected part, a recessed part, printing or the like is arranged. The mark of the disk camera is arranged to confront the mark of the disk cartridge when the disk cartridge is loaded in the proper position of the cartridge holder. A structure is employed in which the marks are exposed to the outside of the disk camera when the disk cartridge is attached to the disk holder, and the user of the disk camera views the proper positioning of the marks to verify the correct loading of the disk cartridge.
