PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable in which distortion generated in the fiber when it is bent is reduced. SOLUTION: In an optical fiber cable 1, coated optical fibers 10 and a high-tensile body 2 are integrated by being coated with resin 3. The cross section of the body 2 has a flat elliptical shape.
