<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission mechanism for developing stable torque cutoff performance even under circumstances of severe temperature changes, comprising a first circular rotor to be rotationally driven by an external driving source, a second disc rotor to be internally fitted to the first rotor, and a connection member for connecting the first rotor to the second rotor, wherein the connection member is destroyed to shut off the transmission of torque from the first rotor to the second rotor when overtorque is transmitted from the first rotor to the second rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission mechanism comprises the first circular rotor to be rotationally driven by the external driving source, the second disc rotor to be internally fitted to the first rotor, and the connection member for connecting the first rotor to the second rotor.
