MASTERING DEVICE, DISK MANUFACTURING METHOD, DISK-LIKE RECORDING MEDIUM, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISK PLAY BACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and securely read 2nd digital information as copyright protection information without being influenced by a defect or pit absence on a disk-like recording medium. SOLUTION: The 2nd digital information is recorded on the disk-like recording medium by wobbling a pit sequence recorded as a 1st signal so that a plurality of bits constituting the 2nd digital information are allocated in unit sections of one and the same synchronizing signal included in the 1st signal. Then the plurality of bits which are thus recorded and constituting the 2nd digital information are read out a plurality of times in each unit section of the synchronizing signal at the time of play back and the pieces of information of the bits thus read are integrated. Consequently, the pieces of information are integrated from many wobbling pits over unit sections of the plurality of synchronizing signals and the values of the respective bits can be decided.
