PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable in which adhesive strength between an optical fiber cable and a coating material is superior and a heat shrinkage rate is small. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable is made of a core material and a sheath which is formed on the outer peripheral of the core material and has a structure having a single layer or a plurality of layers. The optical fiber is covered by the coating material having at least one coating layer. Between the sheath and the coating material, an adhesive layer is provided to improve adhesive strength. The outermost layer of the sheath is made of a resin composition (X) whose major element is a copolymer having vinylidene fluoride units and range of refractive index is 1.31 to 1.41. The adhesive layer is made of a resin composition (Y) whose major element is (meth)acrylic resin containing a (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit having an ester group in which a carboxyl group is coupled to a secondary carbon atom or a tertiary carbon atom.
