PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure for a movement limiting device for a bridge bearing body preventing the occurrence of early interference between an upper shoe and movement limiting members to extend the life of a rustproof film by holding a sliding member without causing the fall of the sliding member even if losing a mechanical fastening member. SOLUTION: The bearing body 4 installed on the base plate 1 comprises a laminated rubber body with rubber layers 6a and steel plates 6b alternately laminated, and the upper shoe 2 and a lower shoe 3 mounted to the upper and lower parts of the laminated rubber body. The movement limiting members 5 for regulating the movement of a rubber bearing body 4 in the right-angled direction X to a bridge axis are installed on the base plate 1 on the bearing body 4 side. The side faces of the relative contact parts 9 of the upper shoe 2 of the bearing body 4 and the movement limiting members 5 are provided with rustproof films of plating or the like, and the side faces of the contact parts 9 are formed with engaging parts 11a, 11b for holding the engagement of the sliding members 10a, 10b of a stainless plate 7a, a polytetrafluorethylene plate 7b, or the like.
