PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-machine unit for the game machines which enables the displaying of whether the paper notes from the paper note inlet are inserted or not accurately to the players. SOLUTION: A light emitting part 20 is formed surrounding the paper note inlet 11 of the inter-machine unit 1 for the game machines and the light emitting part 20 is provided with a light transmitting panel piece 22, an LED board 23 carrying LEDs 24 arrayed on the backside thereof and a character display part 26 reading 'ready' formed on the backside of the panel piece 22. When the insertion of paper notes is ready, the LEDs 24 are lighted to make the light emitting part 20 emit light. When the light emitting part 20 emits light, the character of 'ready' is highlighted. When the players, trying to put the paper notes, look at the paper note inlet 11, the light emitting part 20 is caught sight of thereby eliminating the mistake in the determination of whether the insertion of the paper notes is ready or not. This can accurately prevent the risk of incurring the problems such as the jamming of the paper notes or troubles in a paper note identifying part 4 by the forcible insertion of the paper notes.
