PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat load cell with good precision by solving the problem that the precision of flat load cell is inferior, and to provide a balance with good precision combining the flat load cells with good precision or the conventional flat load cells. SOLUTION: An error in positive direction generated in strain gages Z1 and Z2 provided on the front face and an error in negative direction of strain gages Z3 and Z4 provided on the rear face are mutually canceled by mixing that the strain gages Z1 and Z2 are provided on the front face of a beam 12c and the strain gages Z3 and Z4 are provided on the rear face of a beam 12d, and the precision of the load cell is remarkably improved.
