PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein biting depth of a lock claw into a fitting hole cannot be increased because a turn angle of the lock claw is small. SOLUTION: The lock claw 7 is turnably supported on shaft parts 19, 20 provided inside an upper rail 2 and arranged substantially in parallel with the upper rail 2 to increase the turn angle of the lock claw 7. An input arm 18 for releasing locking is integrally formed in an end part of the lock claw 7. The input arm 18 protrudes to the outside of the upper rail 2 through a cutout part 27. A lock release mechanism 30 presses the input arm 18 to release locking of this seat slide device of the vehicle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
