PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably prolong a service life of a burner by improving phenomenon of becoming unusable in a short period of time due to defective combustion resulting from fuel consumption decrease and the like caused by tar blockage of a vaporizer. SOLUTION: The combustion device has a temperature detection means 7 of the vaporizer, a heater 8 for heating the vaporizer, a heater controlling part 18a for controlling a heater, a combustion quantity variable means 18b for making fuel feeding quantity variable, and a controlling part 18 for performing a calorie-up control for increasing discharging flow of an electromagnetic pump 4 when vaporizer temperature becomes lower than a predetermined specified value. The specified value includes a first specified value for judging start of the calorie-up control and a second specified value for judging end of the calorie-up control and performs the calorie-up control based on a comparison result of each of the specified value and temperature of the vaporizer.
