PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that steam once sprayed after a material to be cleaned contains water is hardly penetrated inside the material by a water film deposited on the surface of the material, and the temperature of sprayed steam is rapidly dropped by the operation of a steam suction means and the cleaning power is degraded if steam spray and steam suction are performed by a same nozzle. SOLUTION: A steam cleaning device comprises a steam generation means to generate steam by heating cleaning water, a steam spraying means which is connected to the steam generation means to spray steam on a material to be cleaned, a steam amount adjustment means to adjust the amount of steam to be sprayed on the material by the steam spraying means, and a water removing means to remove water deposited on the material by the sprayed steam, and alternately performs steam spray and water removal.
