The anode has a surface (2) which is highly resistant to heat. Defined micro-slots are arranged in at least parts of the surface. The micro-slots form a defined structure. They may be strip-shaped with a defined grid dimension. An Independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing an anode for an x-ray apparatus.
