Production of a molded body comprises introducing liquid and/or pasty binders and solid components into a hollow chamber of a tool having a porous perforated structured wall in the form of a support for the solid components, processing the blank in a force field until the binder is sealed, processing the blank during force field action under thermal action, and thermally treating the finished blank removed from the tool. An Independent claim is also included for a molded body produced by the above process.
