<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curing resin composition having excellent anticorrosive and adhesive properties to a thin film composed of silver or its alloy, and to provide an optical disc having high durability and reliability identical or superior to those of another disc for which gold is used as a material for a light-reflecting layer, when the optical disc is given by forming a cured film from the ultraviolet-curing resin composition and using the silver or its alloy as the material. <P>SOLUTION: This ultraviolet-curing resin composition is used for forming a resin layer of a base for the optical disc which has the thin film layer composed of the silver or its alloy on its surface and further has the resin layer on the thin film layer, wherein the composition contains a photopolymerizable compound and a compound expressed by formula (I) [R<SB>1</SB>is (a) H, (b) a 1-10C alkyl which may contain a branched or cyclic structure and further may be substituted by hydroxy, carboxyl or the like, (c) a 6-14C aryl which may be substituted by a branched or non-branched 1-10C alkyl, hydroxy, carboxyl or the like or (d) a 2-10 heterocyclic hydrocarbon radical which may be substituted by a branched or non-branched 1-10C alkyl, hydroxy, carboxyl or the like; and R<SB>2</SB>is (e) a 1-10C alkylene which may contain a branched or cyclic structure and further may be substituted by hydroxy, carboxyl, amino or a halogen]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
